有的人一個(gè)晚上可以啃完一本大部頭,有的人卻一看到書(shū)上的字就止不住的犯困,后者被稱(chēng)為“輕量級(jí)讀者”,英文表達(dá)是lightweight reader。
Lightweight reader refers to someone who gets sleepy or passes out shortly after starting to read.
“輕量級(jí)讀者”指的是那些一開(kāi)始看書(shū)就犯困或者看沒(méi)多久就睡著的人。
Contrary to “heavyweight”, which means very powerful, “l(fā)ightweight” means having little ability, and lightweight reader is a reader who is not good at reading, in fact, far from good at it. You can also call him a poor reader.
和“重量級(jí)”(意思是十分強(qiáng)大)相反,“輕量級(jí)”的意思是能力極低。“輕量級(jí)讀者”則是不擅長(zhǎng)閱讀的人,事實(shí)上,離擅長(zhǎng)閱讀差得很遠(yuǎn)。你也可以把“輕量級(jí)讀者”叫作poor reader。
